MUSEO HISTORICO REGIONAL DE ENSENADA
The oldest civil building in Baja California, housing an interesting museum with a complete collection in Ensenada
It is the oldest civilian building in Baja California. Built in 1886, it served as a military base, prison, hospital and school. Today, it houses an interesting museum, whose collection is not very large but relatively complete. Two rooms tell us about the way of life of the first inhabitants of the peninsula, another about the history of the foundation of Ensenada. To see: the cells where we can observe the paintings made by former prisoners.
