GUADALUPE VALLEY
The Valle de Guadalupe, 30 km from Ensenada, enjoys a Mediterranean climate that is conducive to wine-growing activities. Wine production in the region dates back to the beginning of the last century when a group of Russian immigrants from the United States obtained President Porfirio Díaz a 50-year concession to cultivate vineyards in the region. Other individuals came to join them. Today nearly 25 wine growers are set up in the Valle de Guadalupe. You can learn more about this fabulous story by visiting the Museo Comunitario Ruso, located at number 276 of the Valle de Guadalupe Main Street. Also possible to visit vineyards and wine areas, and to participate in wine tasting sessions. This excursion is worth a visit to enjoy the magnificent scenery of the Valle de Guadalupe.
