Charming little country getaway, ideal for a little picnic by the river in Tenejapa
It's a truly charming little country getaway, ideal for a picnic by the river. While there are two small restaurants at the entrance to the park, the best thing to do is to cross the suspension bridge and walk down to the superb caves overlooking the river, then head for the small meadows that run alongside, ideal for stretching out your blanket and resting amidst the flocks of sheep that graze peacefully here. A wonderful visit to a place that's virtually deserted during the week.
