Hotel one of the oldest resorts of its kind, located at the entrance of the national park, with a large swimming pool

Situated at the entrance to the national park where the ruins are located, the Hotel Maya Bell is one of the oldest resorts in its category. Very original and perfectly integrated into the vegetation, you may even have the opportunity to take a dip in a large swimming pool on the edge of... the jungle! Birdsong will lull you to sleep, but be careful not to tempt the animals with your food. The restaurant is a convivial place to meet other travellers. Massage, spa, pool and temazcal.

I loved this hotel situated a few kilometre from the archaeological site of Palenque. The rooms are certainly picturesque but pleasant and quite large. The swimming pool is very welcoming especially when it is more 35 ° C! The restaurant and good even if a little expensive than average corner. Bonus you can hear can be the howler monkeys. The atmosphere between guests is warm and we did not have a problem with the staff who was shown arranging especially in the négo room rates (300 pesos for a bungalow with bathroom town for 2 people; 850 with private bathrooms)
The setting is magnificent and the picturesque bungalows; you can hear the howler monkeys night... However, the reception was really nice. You had the feeling to disturb them with each time you set 1 question.
But very nice pool (especially at this heat)
