SAINT-MATHIEU CHURCH
A building with architectural features from different periods, a magnificent work in polychrome stone.
Built out of the walls, in what was once a faubourg, the building features architectural features of different eras, in the consequences of fire, construction and renovation. From the original, it preserved the original church only the portal and the porch, of the Romanesque style of the xiiith century. For the rest, the church is a late Gothic (xve-xvie). The essential is in its furniture and especially in its tomb of the xve (MH), a magnificent work of polychrome stone that would be of Flemish origin. To see also the series of five Felletin Aubusson tapestries of the seventeenth century (MH), and the oils on canvas from xviie in the twentieth century, some of which are classified.
