Aldea Xbatun is a restaurant run by a Mayan, Yucatecan family.here, good food and atmosphere come together in a special way: a local meal to share on one long table, where you can watch your tortillas being made and prepared... This restaurant, not fancy but very original, offers high-quality dishes with ancestral recipes and in-house creations. You can enjoy pumpkin seed and tomato dishes , roucou-marinated chicken and much more. For dessert, for example, you'll have home-made chocolate sweetened with honey... Aldea Xbatun also offers a cooking workshop in a rural community in the heart of nature. During this session, you can learn about theMayan cuisine inherited from their ancestors.
