A stop not to be missed in Valladolid, the chocolate museum that traces the history of cocoa in the world

The Chocolate Museum in the center of Valladolid is a must-see. The twelve interactive and immersive rooms retrace the history of cocoa around the world and in Mexico, from its use in Mayan culture to its industrialization in the 20th century. Of course, the visit ends with a delicious tasting to complete the journey from cocoa pod to chocolate bar. An excellent visit. Finally, a visit to the boutique is a must, and you're sure to fall head over heels for it... Allow 30 to 40 minutes.

Petite visite bien sympathique.

Spiegazioni tramite audioguida presenti in ogni stanza e in varie lingue.

Whilst the exhibition is interesting, the museum is not worth the 180mxn to visit. You go through a series of rooms which play a voice over (English is catered for) to explain what is being depicted. It explained the history of the cacao beans, who in history used to drink it, and how it became industrialised. We were able to have a taste test of chocolate at the end of the exhibition.

W ostatnim czasie odwiedziliśmy to miejsce. Czekolada dobra.
