I hesitated at the beginning of my stay to rent a car, but after made an excursion to the hotel (€100 per person) I went to HERTZ in Plaza Isla boulevard 12 miles Kukulkan or I rented car compact very recent (Dodge Attitude) automatic with all the insurance, which I recommend, for €35 by day! driving is no problem, just to respect speed limits and gutters at the entrance of villages.
