HOTEL MORALES
A 10-minute walk from the Degollado Theatre and the Cathedral, this relatively large hotel occupies a 19th century building, enhanced by two additional floors in 1930. It has been operating as a hotel for a long time, as did many other houses from the late 19th century that began to welcome travellers who soon began to visit the city en masse from the arrival of the train (1888). After some thirty years of neglect, the establishment reopened in 2004, respecting the very beautiful colonial style of the complex while adding some more contemporary celebrations such as a solarium on the roof and a swimming pool with temperate waters. The rooms, spread around beautiful old patios that provide natural lighting, have modern parquet floors and antique furniture. Outstanding price-quality ratio.
