FESTIVAL INTERNACIONAL DE CINE
The most important film festival in Latin America presents each year a selection of feature films and shorts.
The major film event in Mexico was inaugurated in 1986 thanks to the collaboration of the University of Guadalajara and the Coordination of Film Studies. The prestigious event takes place in March for 10 days and presents feature films, shorts, documentaries and animation films that have captured the attention of the jury and the audience. The festival takes place in several cultural spaces such as the Plaza Liberación, the Jardín Hidalgo and the Museo Cabañas.
