Prepare yourself (and your liver) to experience a must-see stop on your visit to the state of Jalisco, aboard the iconic José Cuervo Express! Since 2012, this 7-car tourist train has been transporting passengers past a picturesque landscape to discover the wonders of this blue agave-based brandy produced exclusively in Mexican territory. Every Saturday morning, the train leaves the Ferrocaril Mexicano (Ferromex) station in Guadalajara and travels to Tequila (sunrise route). It is important to note that the same trip is made, but this time in the opposite direction, from the Tequila train station to Guadalajara (sunset route). The magnificent cars are reminiscent of the mythical Orient Express, with its marquetry and mahogany woodwork. With a capacity of 375 passengers, it offers three different classes (standard, premium and diamond) ranging from the most modest to the most luxurious car. All packages include breakfast and lunch, a tasting of several varieties of tequila, a visit to the agave fields, the Juan Beckmann Gallardo cultural center and the La Rojeña distillery (the oldest distillery in Latin America), followed by a folkloric and mariachi dance performance. With a standard class ticket, the ride will be in the simple and comfortable "express" cars. For those who prefer a more elegant option, the premium class offers you the chance to travel in a car exclusively for adults, where a vintage bar and tables for 4 people are set up in a sophisticated atmosphere. In this way, it will be an opportunity to get to know other vacationers and discover together the magical and bewitching powers of tequila. Finally, we can deduce that the Diamond Class is the most sumptuous experience of the Cuervo Express, and how! In a romantic setting of unparalleled elegance, the spaces in this car are divided in a more intimate way. Those fortunate enough (and budget conscious) to reserve seats in this car will also be granted access to the Cuervo family's own private cellar. And while it happens to be more expensive than the other cars, we can't recommend it enough: it's simply stunning!
