The beaches south of Boca de Tomatlán are only accessible by boat. From Playa de Los Muertos, you can be taken on a regular time or by private boat to the most popular beaches: Las Animas, Quimixto and Yelapa ($400 per round trip); we can also provide private services for other beaches, but here you will have to negotiate the price. The most convenient way is to leave Boca de Tomatlán, about fifteen kilometres from Puerto Vallarta: there, the public service unloads you where you want and it is more economical (the return trip to Yelapa costs half as much); the shuttles leave from 8am to 6pm: Colomitos, La Troza, Playa Maraicas, Playa del Caballo, Las Animas, Playa Sola, Xinalani, Volador, Quimixto, Caletas, Mahahuitas, Colimilla, Yelapa and Chimo (for the latter, starts at 9am and 3pm).
