CASA KIMBERLEY
It is the villa, or rather several, of Richard Burton and Elisabeth Taylor. They are connected by a bridge. The lower villa, called the "Richard", has a swimming pool. It was used for casual evenings. The upper villa, the "Liz", was the headquarters of official evenings. It was also the couple's principal residence.
On Calle Isla Río Cuale, east of the old bridge, there is a fiberglass statue of the famous Taylor and Burton couple.
On the island of Río Cuale, behind the Jazz Bistro, there is also a (rather simiesque) statue of John Huston, with a tribute to Humphrey Bogart engraved on the base.
