HOTEL ROMA
Hotel offering simple and pleasant rooms with a balcony overlooking the theater
A symbol of the city, this beautiful building is a condensed version of the architectural history of the country at the time of the porfiriato (end of the 19th century). Opened in 1918, it is notably here, in room 206, that Pancho Villa was seen for the last time alive in the city of Durango, before being assassinated in the state of Chihuahua... Many other celebrities, from Cantinflas to Pedro Infante, have stayed here in their time. The rooms, simple and pleasant, are located on the second and third floors and have a balcony overlooking the theater.
