MUSEO DE ARTE CONTEMPORANEO ANGEL ZARRAGA
This sober and nevertheless attractive house of the th century hosts nine rooms dedicated to the enhancement of the artistic expression of the State of Durango during the th and th centuries. The museum is structured around the works of the painter Miguel Angel Zarraga (1886-1946), whose powerful paintings follow the major movements in the history of the country's art: nationalist muralisme and expression, the clacissisme and the portrait sometimes expressed with a touch of surrealism. It also hosts temporary exhibitions of current artists, theatrical performances and literary events.
