Located 24 km north of the city, Zacatecas airport offers direct flights to only a handful of cities in Mexico and the United States. Aeroméxico and VivaAeropbús offer regular flights to Mexico DF; Volaris offers flights to Tijuana and the US cities of Dallas, Los Angeles, San Jose and Chicago. Finally, American Eagle offers flights to Dallas. A taxi ride from downtown costs an average of $250 and takes 20 minutes.
