NOTARÍA DE LA PARROQUIA DE SANTO DOMINGO
Church founded by the Jesuits and taken over by the Dominicans with eight altarpieces in the Churrigueresque style, a red wood organ
Built by the Jesuits in only three years (between 1746 and 1749), this church was later taken over by the Dominicans after the expulsion of the Society of Jesus in 1767. Although its façade is more sober than that of the cathedral, its magnificent interior houses eight Churrigueresque altarpieces that are once again sparkling since their recent restoration. A red painted wooden organ completes the show. Not to be missed!
