MUSEO VILLA DE LLERENA
Museum that traces the history of Sombrerete through numerous objects and the history of mining in the area.
This is a charming little house in an 18th century building that once belonged to the wealthy Fagoaga family, whose patriarch came to New Spain in the same century. Since then, the building has been used as a post office and as the offices of a political party. It retraces in some rooms the history of the territory of Sombrerete: archaeological pieces, photographs, objects of the daily life, etc. One room is dedicated to the history of mining in the region, with photos and work tools.
