MUSEO FEDERICO SILVA
Museum of contemporary sculpture with sculptures by the self-taught sculptor Federico Silva, and those of other sculptors on the second floor
It is one of the most interesting museums of contemporary sculpture in Mexico. The ground floor houses the sculptures of Federico Silva, a self-taught sculptor who was born in Mexico City in 1923 and became the assistant of the painter David Alfaro Siqueiros. His monumental sculptures will not leave you indifferent. As for the first floor, dedicated to temporary exhibitions, it receives the works of other renowned sculptors. It is housed in a neoclassical building dating from the early 20th century. Very nice museography. To be seen.
