This is the City Hall, located on Macroplaza, which is the heart of Monterrey. It is the seat of the government of Nuevo León and houses the offices of the governor of the state. Its construction in 1895 is one of the greatest legacies of General Bernardo Reyes. The ground floor of this neoclassical building houses some 400 historical pieces in its former rooms, which complement the collection on display in the Museo de Historia Mexicana.
