Wonderful caves located inside the Cerro del Fraile with a cable car directly at the entrance for visitors
These marvellous caves were discovered in 1843 by the parish priest of Villa de García, and have been the object of numerous developments that somewhat break the charm (illuminations, paths and hard stairs). They are located inside the Cerro del Fraile, at an altitude of 1,100 metres. To make them more accessible to the public, the government has built a cable car that takes visitors directly to the entrance of the caves, but the more courageous can still take the path and walk to them.
