Next to the noisy Place de l'Indépendance and the great national theatre of Dakar, this massive, somewhat old-fashioned building was at the end of this edition, which was in the process of being renovated. The hotel offers 80 functional rooms spread over six floors with TV, air conditioning, direct dial telephone, air conditioning and bathroom with bathtub. It also has three suites next to the swimming pool, near which one can enjoy a meal or a cocktail on a deckchair while enjoying the sun and the few plants that decorate the garden.

Découvert lors d'un atelier, l'hôtel Axil offre un Très beau cadre pour tenir un séminaire, un atelier. Disponibilité de salles bien équipées avec une grande capacité d'accueil. Le restaurant au bord de la piscine est favorable à la détente lors des pauses. Les repas servis étaient succulents aussi.
Il est situé à 5 min chrono de la gare du TER de Dakar (à pieds), à quelques minutes de Sandaga, de Grand Théâtre, Musée des Civilisations, du cinéma Canal olympia...

Hotel in traumhafter Lage um das Zentrum zu erkunden. 5 Minuten zur Fähre nach Goree, unwesentlich weiter ist es zum Markt Sandaga. Aber auch der Rest der Stadt z.B. der Unabhängigkeitsplatz sind in 10-15 Minuten erreichbar. Das Frühstück, direkt am Pool, ist lecker und reichhaltig. Das Hotelpersonal spricht sehr gutes Englisch.
Die einzigen 2 Mankos finden sich im Zimmer. Zum einem hat sich unsere Balkontür nicht richtig schließen lassen, wodurch der Straßenlärm sowie die Hitze ins Zimmer kam. Zum anderen bekamen wir jeden Tag nur ein Handtuch, obwohl wir zu zweit unterwegs waren

Management of services isn't good. Extremely hungry for money which compromises business. Location not that great, sounds of construction heard throughout night.
