Housed in a colonial building, the Saint-Louis Sun hotel offers charming, clean, air-conditioned rooms equipped with mosquito nets (on request). Its main asset: a pretty, peaceful patio planted with trees, sheltered from the hustle and bustle of the Plateau, where you can enjoy a leisurely breakfast or an afternoon drink. The setting was chosen by Malian director Cheick Oumar Sissoko in the early 2000s for his film Pour Aïcha. The restaurant serves well-prepared Senegalese and European specialties.

A very pleasant family atmosphere. Friendly people and a lovely setting. A place that I recommend.
A good place to square in the centre of Dakar (district plateau)
A good quality/price ratio and very well located.
The hotel opens onto a courtyard and also offers a dining option.
The rooms are clean and inexpensive especially if you are numerous.

When we resided it, the hotel was under renovation, but no excuse or compensation for the smell of painting, painters with our windows (zero privacy) and the noise very early in the morning.
I recommend the oceanic hotel.
