He estado varias veces en este hotel, que ha ido mudando de nombre con el tiempo. Necesita una reforma integral.... al menos antes del COVID que fue cuando estuve allí por última vez. El hotel tiene todo tipo de servicios, y obviamente si vas a asistir a una conferencia, es de los lugares mejor organizados de África porque lo concentra absolutamente todo.

First the positives: This hotel is very conveniently located in walking distance of many Embassies and international organizations in a nice seaside suburb of Dakar. Though a bit dark and dated inside, the hotel is set on lovely, expansive grounds perfect for breezy beachfront jogs, walks, or drinks. The gym is pretty well equipped with machines and weights and there is a hair, nail, and massage salon in the hotel along with car rental and several boutiques. Now the negatives: With the exception of 2 motivated staff, I found most of the personnel to be indifferent when it came to customer service. Most queries would get shrugged off with, "call reception." Line staff don't seem to be trained or motivated to find solutions. For example, I called room service to order a cappuccino. They said the espresso machine was broken. I pointed out I had just had a nice cappuccino for breakfast in the restaurant. However they were unwilling to walk to the restaurant to use the working espresso machine (which they could then charge for, unlike my free breakfast coffee). The room service also was not consistent. The first night I ordered a Croque Madame sandwich it was quite good. The second time, I got dry bread with no sauce! (see photo) Finally, I was not impressed with the cockroach calmly climbing on the breakfast table! (see photo)

Stayed there due to a canceled flight.
The place is huge, the room was and smelled humid, to the extent that the door would not close without a hard push

Breakfast and Lunch buffet were good though

The pool is under renovation, no water in it now

The hitel was understaffed, but might be due to the flight canceled, 100 people checking in Without notice

Acheminer par Brussel Airlines suite à l’annulation de notre vol , nous sommes arriver très nombreux en pleine nuit , le personnel nous a très bien accueilli, disponible pour toutes les informations malgré le stress et la fatigue de longues heures l’attente, les employés sont souriants, le bâtiment gigantesque, un peu ancien, mais le repos y était agréable après le stress, la chambre avec le balcon et vue sur le mer , Monsieur Laurent Mendy a été extrêmement attentif et m’a aidé suite à la perde de mon sac lors du transfert, il est très professionnel , un grand merci à toute l'équipe: Véronique JACOBS / CAMARA

Ancien bel hôtel laissé non-entretenu, il y faudra beaucoup de travaux de rénovation pour revenir au standing d'un hôtel qui se dit 5 étoiles.

I went here for lunch and it was really beautiful. I had great food and the staff was extremely nice. I decided to sit at the restaurant but you can definitely sit by the pool if you like. This is a very secure facility and it's located right across the street from the US embassy.

Great experience. Tried the suite and the rooms. Both had balconies with great views of the ocean. Breakfast buffet was outstanding. Lunch and dinner were perfect and quiet atmosphere. Great for business trip or leisure. Very close to downtown Dakar and Center of Almadies.

Hotel spacieux qui contient un centre commercial en son sein. Le staff est courtois et acceuillant. Les chambres sont grandes, confortables et propres en apparence. Malheureusement, j'ai vu deux cafards dans ma chambre, un dans la salle de bain et l'autre sur le lit, ce qui n'est pas acceptable.
