LE JARDIN DE GORÉE

Djibril, from the restaurant Chez Tonton, has embarked on an ambitious project for a lounge bar at the Castel, which will benefit from a breathtaking view of the ocean, with the capital as a backdrop. Under construction at the time of our visit, the establishment will be laid out on three levels, made with slabs from old houses on the island. Juices and local specialties will be offered, prepared with products from the market. Three guest rooms and a suite with a private terrace were also being completed during our visit.
