In a garden with trees, near the beach, the establishment offers a pleasant setting for a short stay in Joal. The 8 rooms are clean and basic, with desk, bed, laundry and bathroom with shower. Families will appreciate room #3, which has a mezzanine with two small beds for children. A nice swimming pool invites you to refresh yourself under the coconut trees. The restaurant offers a few à la carte dishes such as sole meunière and monkfish brochettes. Sit on the panoramic terrace to enjoy the sea view!

Seldom in my life I have felt so welcome and home like at Joal Lodge. The hotel manager Samuel is incredibly kind and willing to help in any given situation. If you are interested in a tour to Mar Lodge, or the city of Fadiouth, there is an amazing guide called Buba, who is not only a local and very well-informed about the area, he is also simply a good human being. He offers the tours in the hotel. Without hesitation I would recommend this place, which is only a few minutes walking distance from Fadiouth and also directly next to the ocean. And if this review sounds quite enthusiastic, it is because I am.

Petit hôtel avec jolies cases africaines. Accueil chaleureux, un guide formidable qui nous a fait visiter l'île aux coquillages. Un cadre intimiste et tranquille, une belle terrasse en hauteur avec vue sur la mer. Je recommande.

Vous auriez à proximité des plages propres, ce qui n'est absolument pas le cas, vous relativiseriez tout le reste. L'hôtel est agréable mais assez rudimentaire. Le personnel est charmant mais on retrouve cette bonne impression un peu partout au Sénégal.
