CAMPEMENT JANTEBI-N’DANGANE
This campsite located in the village of N'Dangane on the edge of the ornithological park, on the edge of one of the arms of the sea of the Deutsche-Saloum, consists of 9 boxes (with WC, shower, fan and nets) with a total capacity of 24 people. The food offered is exclusively organic and prepared from local products. Guests can choose between two formulas, either «à la carte» formula or three types of 7, 14 or 21-day stay, depending on the interest of the customers (discovery of the environment or a solidarity break). Many activities, including the visit of the Delta delta but also the northern parks (Niokolo-Koba National Park), the discovery of Senegalese culture and local medicinal plants…
The particularity of this luxury camp is that it is managed by GIE (Economic Interest Group), that is, it benefits local populations (10% of revenues are paid into a solidarity fund). In addition, sustainable waste management has been put in place (waste sorting and compost pit, use of rechargeable batteries and progressive purchase of solar lamps, use of natural product detergents). The camp plans to equip itself with solar energy soon and to participate in reforestation programmes. A cultural hall welcomes villagers and guests to participate in animations or conferences.
