Set on the banks of the river on the island of Mar Lodj, this magnificent camp is a haven of peace, planted with trees and spread over 12 hectares. Accommodation comprises 17 well-decorated, ventilated huts with mosquito nets, 5 of which are family-style. Canoes, paddles and windsurfing boards are available for use on the wide beach. Ideal for fishing from the pontoon or by pirogue. Delicious restaurant serving fresh local produce. Friendly and attentive staff. Animal and kid-friendly establishment, with playground, bikes, table tennis and table soccer.

Hakuna Lodge is the ultimate relax place, surrounded by pure nature you will find your peace here. Reaching it via boat and carriage or "speed" boat was easier than expected and has some adventurous flavour. The meals are served in a community place were you get together with the other guests and meet nice people like we did. The food was european with a regional touch (pasta with fish). Boat tours etc. can be organized by the host and cost extra, hiking the island is beautiful.

Bonjour Bandia, Dieureudieuf à toi et tout le personnel de hakuna lodge, un super séjour parmi vous. Votre amabilité et votre disponibilité, votre accueil chaleureux ont contribué à nos très bonnes vacances. ..merci encore au chef cuisinier pour ses mets succulents et d'avoir adapté les menus pour nos enfants saisai....super adresse dépaysante, paisible et calme....

La qualité d’un voyage de noces n’est pas dans sa durée mais dans l’intensité de l’amour des mariés. Nous venons de passer un week-end inoubliable au calme. Accueil chaleureux convivial, une équipe professionnelle. Magnifique lodge. Ces cases avec salle de bain à ciel ouvert propres, repas frais et excellent, plage, la charette pour se déplacer, enfin la balade à vous couper le souffle dans les bolongs... Nous avons prolongé notre séjour. Nous y retournerons
