Located in the Médine district, off the main road, this is an unpretentious, well-kept hostel where you can spend one or two peaceful nights in Sokone. The 11 ventilated or air-conditioned rooms are decent, furnished with TV and wardrobe. Bathrooms are equipped with hot-water showers. Nicknamed the "House of the Bolongs", the2nd floor features a panoramic restaurant offering splendid views over the mangrove swamps. Perfect for enjoying local or international cuisine!

Great disappointment. Will not return and would not recommend. The owner, Anne-Marie, responded to my concerns about bed bugs and further insect infestation in my room with laughter and disrespect. In front of me, she mentioned to someone else that that issue with my room was me and my psychological state. I've never been treated with such disrespect by a business owner. Not only did she diminish and make light of my concerns, but she made me out to be crazy and did almost nothing to address my concerns. She never apologized, nor did she give me a discount to soften the problems I experienced with insect infestation and unclean linens in my room.
