This was a wonderful place to stay with friends and our kids. Basic but very special indeed with great food, great activities (esp low tide mangrove walk), community run, best stars seen in ages, and well organised/fun transfers from Toubakouta via boat and donkey cart. Highly recommend.

Le campement est de nouveau opérationnel. On y est passés pour un repas (tiboudienne, le plat national sénégalais). Lieu magique, avec vue sur le bolong Bamboung au cœur d'une réserve maritime. Accueil très chaleureux.
Phacochères à l'affût des restes du repas, les enfants ont adoré.

Si l'endroit est paradisiaque, on n'en dira pas de même du campement cases à l'abandon ( lumière ne fonctionne plus, l'eau au goutte à goutte) les cases ont beaucoup souffert. Personnel sympathique et gentil, mais très peu concerné par l'entretien, seule khadi nous à concocté une super cuisine. Que d'investissement perdus !!!!!!!

Lodge immerso nella natura a cui è possibile arrivare a piedi dall'isola di Sipo. Un'oasi di pace. Un modo perfetto per apprezzare la bellezza naturale del Sine Salom ... Accogliente, arredato in modo tradizionale, con un ristorante che offre pasti squisiti (il più buon pollo di tutto il viaggio) e una vista magnifica.

The camp is isolated but staff provides everything to make your stay pleasant. A guide is available to make you visit the area, on foot or by kayak, and makes you discover the natural riches, flora and fauna. You can simply but hearty. Small coves to swim are charming.
The huts are simply equipped also but everything is designed to respect the environment.
The aim is eco-touristy creditable, then, if we must return to Sine Saloum, it is some, we will return.
The only drawback is that it is waiting to take the canoe. We had not our arrival but we however waited more than two hours to other tourists condescend finally to us. Very limited communication. With two children, not very cool. But it seems that the following a misunderstanding, you that it be rare, so... Management on site with listening, however.
