This guest house is a good address, for its comfortable rooms at low prices, its relaxed atmosphere and its eco-friendly footprint, all with solar energy. Simon and his wife Khady offer double rooms with shared bathroom, and a comfortable hut with private private bathroom. During the day, you can take a nap in the shade of the palm trees after a bio meal. In particular, you can enjoy the pizzas of Simon, baked by wood fire.

If you are looking for an immersive cultural experience in the Casamance, this is the place to stay. The rooms are simple and the amenities are limited, but the main attraction here is the natural setting in the jungle and the feeling of a homestay experience in Senegal's under-visited southern province. Khady is an incredibly welcoming host, keen to share the local Jola culture, and she is an absolute rockstar in the kitchen. Her cooking will be some of the best food you eat in West Africa! I have been coming to this spot since 2017 and I don't plan on stopping anytime soon.

Kady was a great host, it is quiet and peaceful there, away from the busy centre road.

The food Kady and the other women prepared was excellent, I now love Casamance cooking.

Kady is a local, and is happy to explain the local culture and dynamics

We had the most stunning stay here. Our dinner was one of our best on our trip so far and they really looked after us. The family is welcoming, the rooms are spacious. You must stay here for an authentic Senegal experience!

Absolutely amazing stay at Khady's. The whole family took great care of us and welcomed us with open arms always offering food, drinks, fruits etc. I will remember the nights by the fire drinking Senegalese tea, walks at the beach with concerts, taking us shopping around, visiting the sacred Bantangworo and of course visiting of the mangroves by canoe.
They took care of everything!!!
I can 100% recommend this place !

Fantastic place. A small paradise in a quiet location. Very leafy and green. The room was very spacious and comfortable. The hostess was very kind and responsive. She lives with her kids at the property and you really feel like you are at home here. I stayed for 2 nights but would have loved to stay for much longer. The village is very nice and relaxed as well. Clean beaches, great food and music.
