Hôtel au charme certain. Accueil agréable. Par contre deux nuitées sur un matelas inconfortable ont laissé un goût d'inachevé. A améliorer.

Hôtel peu onéreux situé pas bien loin du centre. Chambre correcte avec TV, uniquement chaînes sénégalaises.
WC exigus.
Menus du restaurant pas tous disponibles.
Chambres climatisées avec WC et douche un peu plus spacieux.
Grande salle à manger.

Magnifique endroit calme et reposant même en centre ville. Personnel très accueillant au bar.

Cela fait 22 ans que je séjourne une dizaine de jours à l'hôtel Rex chaque année.
Toute l'équipe est agréable et toujours prête à répondre aux besoins des clients. Jérôme, le patron, a débuté il y a quelques années des travaux de rénovation par parties. Une belle évolution avec l'envie de proposer un service de qualité-prix irréprochable.
Les chambres rénovées sont propres, modernisées et bien équipées.
Sa situation permet une bonne circulation au sein de la ville de Thiès.
Il y a un restaurant à l'hôtel mais d'autres établissements gravitent autour.
À l'année prochaine !

Justes un hotel

Bien placé et bon accueil. Chambre tres bien .
Le bemol est la jeune femme qui sert les petits dej.
Pas polie ni souriante et d'une lenteur impressionnante .
Visiblement pas enchantée d'etre là.
Dommage car on garde un excellent souvenir

La habitación no estaba mal. Pero contamos más de una docena de mosquitos y no había mosquiteras.
Las camas son muy incómodas.
Pero si buscas algo barato este es el hotel.

Price charged is four times higher than what they put on line. Food at hotel is 25 per cent higher. When brought to their attention both times, the only thing the employees could tell me is: '' Oh! That was a long time ago." If that is so why don't they update whenever.
Room I stayed ininwas, was roach infested. Non of the channels on tv was clear, even the Senegalese ones; makes me feel like they don't even use cable but an external antenna( if you were around in the 1980's you'll know exactly what am talkin about).
I had to walk up to the front desk again and tell them there was no toilet paper, no towel. 20 minutes later they were brought to me. The towel was still damp. I could tell quite easily it just came out of the washer and dryer. There was no wash cloth.
You can forget about WI-FI because it did not work. Employee at the front desk tried to make me feel like it was me who didn't know how to connect to a WI-FI system. I came back again when it still did not work in my room or along the corridor. Finally, he told me all guests who needed to use the WI-FI have to sit around a little corner across from where he sat.
I have used hotels with similar ratings before but never have I seen anything like this. It is NOT worth staying there trying to save a buck or two. Next time I would not mind paying a little more at some other place and get better service.
Oh, by the way, the night employees talked all night at intervals, waking me up or making it hard for me to sleep.
