The hotel has been imagined by the architect San Martino as a ship with gangways and rooms designed in a "cabin" style. From period furniture to objects made by local craftsmen, including old photos of Saint-Louis, it is tastefully decorated in the spirit of the 1950s. The rooms have all been renovated in 2015 and offer all modern comforts. An establishment that is recommended as much for its comfort, its welcome as for its location: it is ideally situated for exploring the city.

The restaurant is fine with good service, but the hotel is a disaster in the making! There is no way this is a 4-star hotel.
I appreciate the colonial history of the building and the city, but the place lacks hygiene and maintenance for a 0-star inn! Photos scratch only the surface. The smell of cigarettes on the pillows, the dirty bed covers and broken shower add to the experience. I asked to have my room changed. The new room had more space, but it was equally disappointing.
