ASSOCIATION SAINT-LOUIS JAZZ
Saint-Louis Jazz is a non-profit association founded in 1992 in Saint-Louis, under the impetus of the Centre Culturel Français, the Syndicat d'Initiative et de Tourisme, and young jazz enthusiasts. Its main objective is to promote and animate the Saint-Louis International Jazz Festival, as well as to support cultural actions contributing to the economic development of the region. The association organizes numerous events and gatherings of musicians and jazz enthusiasts alongside the festival. It also aims to promote jazz in general, through various social and musical projects. In addition to jazz, Saint-Louis Jazz is committed to promoting Senegalese culture through the organization of traditional events and the promotion of local crafts. The Festival International de Jazz de Saint-Louis has become one of the most important festivals in Africa, with the participation of renowned musicians from all over the world. For 30 years, this event has attracted thousands of festival-goers every year.
