LE FANAL DE SAINT-LOUIS

A beautiful journey back in time through lantern parades, theatrical scenes, frenzied dances and fireworks.
This Saint Louisian custom dates back to the 18th century when the Signares, dressed in their best clothes, went to midnight mass, accompanied by slaves who lit the way with lanterns. This ancestral tradition is today symbolized by a parade of luminous floats, made by the inhabitants of Ndar. But before reliving the history of Saint-Louis until its independence, through a beautiful show mixed with traditional dances, acrobatics and music, made by the inhabitants of Ndar. Fascinating!
