The only streetcar line (for the time being) connects the northeast with the southwest: Heil-Ha Avir, Beit Hanina, Damascus Gate (entrance to the Old City), City Hall, Mahane Yehuda (market), Bus Station and Mount Herzl. The buses run every 6 to 10 minutes. To travel, don't forget your Rav Kav, which you can charge at the streetcar stop terminals. Two additional lines are planned for the coming years: the green line is currently under construction (launch scheduled for 2027-28), and the blue line is currently being designed.
