Caffit opened in the 1980s, in the middle of the German colony. This trendy café caters for all tastes: young families, couples, local intellectuals, a few grandparents and tourists passing through. It's a merry melting pot, with a varied menu featuring antipasti, salads, toast, hamburgers, homemade pasta, focaccia, grilled chicken... The terrace is very pleasant and the staff helpful. Today, this very local institution can be found elsewhere in town, notably in the center (18 Shlomzion Hamalka St.).
