YMCA THREE ARCHES HOTEL
A hotel, theater and swimming pool complex with 50 large, soberly decorated rooms.
In 1924, Archibald Clinton Harte raised one million dollars to construct this imposing building, intended as a place of exchange and peace between all religions. He called on architect Arthur Loomis Harmon (responsible for New York's Empire State Building) and planned every detail of this magnificent complex, which houses a hotel, a theater and even a swimming pool! The 50 or so rooms are large and soberly decorated. Don't miss a visit to the hotel tower for a panoramic view of the city, preferably at sunset.
