Emek Refaim Street is the main street of the German Colony district: it retains the charm of yesteryear, when the neighborhood was established in the second half of the 19th century. We recommend walking down this street on weekdays, when the stores and cafés are open, for a pleasant half-day of shopping. The street is home to many trendy boutiques, more interesting than the central malls . On Friday mornings, an organic market is also held on the street. It's a pleasant plunge into a residential neighborhood.
