ISRAEL MUSEUM
Founded in 1965, Israel's museum is currently the largest Israeli museum in the world and the country's largest cultural institution. He also houses the priceless Dead Sea Scrolls and counts under his wing (but at different addresses) the Rockefeller Museum and the Maison Ticho. The site occupies a huge 80 000 m ² campus that explores the Billy Rose Art Garden, designed by the Japanese-Japanese architect Isamu Noguchi according to the precepts of the Zen Garden. At the time of the walk, we welcome works by prestigious artists such as Jacques Lipchitz, Henry Moore, Picasso, Rodin and many others.
Museum of Art and Archaeology. Nearly 800 000 visitors receive every year to discover the collections of the Israel Museum, which includes 500 000 pieces of archaeological archaeology from prehistory to modern times and countless works of art.
The Samuel and Saidye Bronfman wing, devoted to archaeology, follows chronological order and is divided into seven chapters from prehistory to the Ottoman Empire. Ruth Youth Wing's Ruth Youth Wing is intended for children's educational activities. The administration and supervision of this wing is under the responsibility of some 100 teachers, trainers, teachers and administrators.
Sanctuary of the Book, at the entrance to the site.
