On Salah a-Din Street, follow the smell of freshly ground cardamom, and you arrive at Sandouka's house. The coffee beans are imported directly from Brazil and roasted in an old machine on the second floor. A pipe transports them directly into baskets on the ground floor where the coffee is put into paper bags. The establishment run by an Israeli Jew and a Palestinian Arab is a bit of a symbol in East Jerusalem. For coffee lovers who would have fallen in love with the famous Turkish coffee.
