Yad La'Shiryon is a memorial and museum dedicated to the soldiers of the Israeli Armored Corps. It features an impressive collection of heavy and light armored vehicles (nearly 200) and is one of the largest museums of its kind in the world. In the past, the site was occupied by an important British military stronghold, built around 1930. It was taken by the Jordanian army in 1948, enabling the latter to win the Battle of Latroun. For lovers of military history.
