Abu Hassan is the undisputed star of hummus in Tel Aviv, the chickpea puree that is a true religion in Israel.

The star, I mean the international star of hummus is working right here in Jaffa! If the hummus issue is a local debate of great importance, Abu Hassan is the consensus as the best stand in the country (no less!), and the long queue in front of this modest stall will not contradict us. The restaurant is already full at 10am! If there is no room, take away and walk towards the sea which is just a few steps away. The falafels are also excellent and the service very smiling.
