It's hard not to spot this bakery, established here since 1879, because there are always people in front of it, at all hours of the day and night. For four generations, the Abu Elafia family has been making delicious breads, cakes, pizzas, samoussas (small triangles of dough filled with minced meat and condiments), as well as bagels that can be filled with different ingredients. It's cheap and it's delicious! Two other Abulafia are in Tel Aviv, at the Old Port and Allenby Street. It's an institution here - go with your eyes closed!
