After arriving in Palestine in 1923, conductor Mordechai Golinkin founded a national cultural center: in 1926, his first opera, La Traviata, was staged in Tel Aviv. Housed in the Performing Arts Center, the Opera presents an international repertoire, while emphasizing the Jewish contribution to this field. Both acoustics and visibility are excellent, but we recommend rows 5 to 10. There's no need to dress up if you're going to a performance - Israeli fashion is casual!
