Built in 1973, the Tel Aviv Cinematheque has occupied the imposing building designed by Israeli architect Salo Hershman since 1989. You can't miss it on a visit to the Sarona district! It screens old and new films, tributes to actors and directors, retrospectives and more. The selection is quite specialized. The Cinémathèque also hosts a large number of festivals, including Docaviv (international documentary film festival) and TLVFest (international LGBTQ+ film festival).
