MARATHON DE TEL AVIV
This is the most important sporting event in Israel. A course of about 43 km and a big party at the finish!
It is the largest international sporting event in the country! Each year, nearly 40,000 participants from Israel and elsewhere run along the sea and the main streets of the city. Created in 1934 by the mayor of the time, the race of about 43 km was redesigned in 1981 and has since become a real institution. In addition to the marathon, a half-marathon, a 10 km and a 5 km race are organized. It is a sporting opportunity to discover Tel Aviv, a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
