The Haganah, forerunner of the Israel Defense Forces, was the Jewish military organization created in 1920 by the first immigrants, which later helped win the War of Independence in 1948. Located in the home of one of the Haganah's founders, and its leader until 1945, Eliyahu Golomb, the museum's multimedia exhibition tells the story of this armed struggle for the creation of the State of Israel. In addition to retracing the history of the Haganah, the museum features an impressive collection of weapons, documents and photographs.
