Stroll among the restaurants, shops and cafés set up in the twenty or so historic houses dating back to the Knights Templar.

This agricultural district was founded at the end of the 19th century by German Protestants known as the Knights Templar. When Israel was established in 1948, the Tel Aviv City Council converted the buildings into administrative offices. It wasn't until 2003 that it decided to restore and preserve them, creating the Sarona Gardens. Today, you can stroll among the restaurants, boutiques and cafés housed in the twenty or so renovated historic houses.

The area is relatively quiet despite its location at the foot of scrape-sky. Ideal for some shopping or have a drink at the end of the day.
