The Be'er Sheva River Park is a huge area reserved for cultural and leisure activities west of the ancient site of Tel Be'er Sheva National Park. It houses and highlights several recent achievements and historic monuments of value. In addition to a modern amphitheatre of 12 000 places (under construction in 2016) and large green spaces, the Pipes Bridge (modern metal structure which protects the pipeline bringing drinking water to the city), The Bet Hashomron Observation Point (observation station built in 1943) or the Turkish Bridge (railway bridge built during the First world war).
